Karen Taraska

Karen Taraska is a highly talented and innovative senior professional with extensive expertise in the development and implementation of recruitment advertising strategies, corporate strategic planning, marketing, product development, operations and human resources. She has applied these talents in a broad range of industry sectors including both small and large private and public sector organizations.

Over the last 20 years, Karen has demonstrated the unique knack of developing a deep understanding of client needs and objectives resulting in a solid reputation for customer service and award winning product development. Most recently, Karen was recognized by Canada Safeway as the driving force behind the design, development and implementation of their Jobpod.ca website which was named the international Creative Excellence Award winner for 2009.

Prior to co-founding HireMarketing, Karen served as the VP & General Manager of an independent recruitment advertising agency. Over a six year timeframe, she grew this company into one of the largest and most profitable agencies in Canada. Through this venue, Karen assisted numerous private and public sector organizations recruit employee talent both locally and around the world.

Through the new firm, HireMarketing, Karen is once again focused on helping business leaders and HR professionals leverage their recruitment marketing, technologies and systems to re-invent the way they recruit. This includes elevating corporate brands, capturing and engaging audiences and developing custom designed, competitive recruitment networks.
